I would like for Body Balance to take over my HRT treatment. Will I have to start over? No, Body Balance is capable of seamlessly continuing a patients care. There are many resources which allow us to cross reference a patient's records. For example, LabCorp LINK allows different clinics to pull lab results from any patient that has has labs processed at a LabCorp facility.

How long do I have to continue treatment? To continue to get the benefits of HRT treatment (increased sex drive, increased energy, better sleep, reduction of hot flashes/night sweats, etc), you must stay on treatment. However, at any point, you are able to stop treatment.
-
Do you take my insurance? We unfortunately do not take insurance. We are considered an 'out-of-network' provider due to not being affiliated with any insurance carriers. However, we have the ability to fill out insurance reimbursement forms for you to self-file with your insurance. We accept cash, debit, credit, check, HSA, and Flex Spending.
-
Why don't you offer oral medications for HRT?We do not offer oral versions of our bio-identical hormones. We offer injections due to the ability to tweak dosing based upon your symptoms. By being able to do this, patients typically see more benefits and less side effects from treatment.
-
Can I have my prescription sent to a different pharmacy?Body Balance uses custom compounding pharmacies. Many of our medications are not available at your typical pharmacy. Our prescriptions are filled through one of these pharmacies or filled in the office.

Will I get 'roid rage' from testosterone? The term "roid-rage" is often associated with the misuse or abuse of anabolic steroids, which are different from our bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) testosterone. When used as a prescribed and monitored appropriately, BHRT aims to restore hormone levels to a healthy range, providing numerous benefits for individuals experiencing low testosterone. Roid-rage, on the other hand, refers to extreme and unpredictable mood swings, aggression, and irritability that can occur with the abuse or misuse of high doses of anabolic steroids. These effects are not associated with the therapeutic use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), including BHRT testosterone, when it is used as prescribed in appropriate doses.
